Chapter III : The Quest part III

The next day he stands on the floor of his new found home reading a newspaper in witch he is consider to bee the killer of a retired cop with an outstanding career; the boy reached from an lost soul to a cop killer wanted by all police department and because he asked there about the victim there was a description of his all over the town and even on the T.V. his search has made him the most wanted in this part of the world. He knew that staying hidden will not help because after many searches they will find him so is only choice was to find the one that killed the cop and bring him to justice is chance was slim but his choices where limited to: dye or find the truth about Jeremy Brett. When the night descended on the city the boy was ready to revisit the crime scene, the house was empty nobody around and everything was the same as the first time he walked that door, with a knife he cuts the yellow tape surrounding the house and with great care he opens the window and enters in the house heading to the kitchen where the blood was still there, he looks around trying to understand what happen the body was in the kitchen with a hole in his head he remembers that was something on the kitchen table and a knife he then makes the connection that the victim was making dinner when he was shoot but not from a far but from a short distance, so he enters the study room where he hopes to find why was the cop killed realizing that the cops already have a suspect so is no need to search for somebody else, searching in his desk he finds a blocked drawer but with his knife succeeds on opening the drawer and what he finds leaves the poor boy more dazzled finding a picture of himself in an empty file witch was pretty big and a date on the file witch was the day that the man was killed, he then makes the connection Brett was killed because he found out who he was and in the day of his murder he was preparing to come to the orphanage so he could him what his real name was and his parents but somebody didn’t what him to find his name and was ready to kill for that. His life just jumped from a quest of finding his past to a life of intrigue where people are ready to kill so that the secret is kept and that just made him more determined to find his inheritance and the man who killed and innocent to preserve this mystery. He wasn’t scared that getting to close might get killed without finding the truth he has prepared to fight to his last breath that this death will not go in vain.
The next day he packed everything and the picture of the death cop and left the city heading towards a south city where Brett first begun his journey to find the truth about him, he knew that the only way to find his name was to follow in the footsteps of the one that died to find the truth. With everybody searching for him was easy to leave the city and head south to a city named “Onus”.
